Role Description
As an AI Engineer specializing in anomaly detection from logs, you will play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge machine-learning solutions.
- Drive technical initiatives by taking part in research, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models for log analysis and anomaly detection.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, fostering skill development and innovation.
- Stay on track with the demanding technical roadmap and be proactive and result-driven in its adjustments.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for log ingestion, feature engineering, and model training, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Evaluate and experiment with state-of-the-art ML techniques, benchmarking model performance and iterating on improvements.
- Stay at the forefront of AI research, applying the latest advancements in anomaly detection and log analysis to enhance system capabilities.
- Establish and enforce best practices in coding, model deployment, and quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in machine learning engineering with a focus on anomaly detection, log analysis, time series analysis, etc.
- Strong proficiency in programming Python along with expertise in machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and supervised/unsupervised learning algorithms.
- Experience with large-scale log data analysis, including log parsing, feature extraction, and anomaly detection.
- Proficiency in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Elasticsearch.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
