Role Description
Technitask is growing quickly and looking to build its operational capacity and capability. You will be responsible for partnering closely with clients to build data models on Datasphere that enable business users to self-serve data and analytics.
We are looking for skilled technical SAP Datasphere Developers. You will be responsible for developing data architecture designs, building Datasphere objects, ETL tools, and reporting infrastructure to enable our customers to make data-driven business decisions through developed and ad hoc reporting and analytics.
- Work with business stakeholders to review and update FSDs.
- Create TSDs and related unit testing scripts, and develop reporting objects and code.
- Gather requirements, build architecture & functional designs, conduct options analysis, champion solutions, and drive deployment & delivery with the customer, systems integrators, and development teams.
- Build, design, and maintain data models, data pipelines, and data security & privacy policies.
Qualifications
- SAP Reporting experience: 7+ years of experience across SAP BW, with knowledge and applied experience in SAC, and Datasphere / Data Warehouse Cloud.
- SAP Datasphere experience: At least one year of Datasphere experience as a hands-on developer on Datasphere. SAP Datasphere certifications are ideal.
- Clear communicator: Develop clear, concise documentation (e.g., FSDs, TSDs, code commentary) that make it easy for your colleagues to understand your code and deliver solutions together.
- Solution-builder: Excited to get your hands dirty doing the work, understand the needs and desired outcomes at a high-level and at a technical level.
- Problem solver: Quickly formulate approaches from functional and technical design documents, and are self-driven to research and ask for help to build complex solutions independently.
- Outcomes driven: Collaborate with your clients and their stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and continuously prioritize your work to meet those needs.
Requirements
- Full-time role, contract up to 1-year with up to 3 extensions of 1 year each.
- Remote, in Canada.
- Background check required.
