Role Description
RED is looking for an SAP JVA Consultant for a 1 year contract, Remote/India, to join us in support of one of our biggest global clients!
Upstream finance workstream specifically for:
- Joint Venture Accounting: JVA
The objectives of the SAP Upstream Project (JVA/PSA/PRA) deployment team are summarized below:
- Document design for JVA modules.
- Build and test the solution as part of the larger R2R and Exxon Polaris program.
- Work with related functions such as testing, data, and training/OCM to enable and deliver the solution.
- Assist with pro-active risk mitigation of the solutions including identifying co-engineering opportunities, working with SAP product teams, and SAP product support teams.
- Assist with the cutover and deployment of the capabilities in Deployment 2 Release 1, and Deployment 2, Release 2.
- Assist customer in Hypercare.
- Transfer project knowledge to customer.
Working hours coverage: is it expected that US time zone to be partially covered (i.e. : 4/h day, number of days per week and period to be determined and confirmed).
Your key responsibilities:
- SAP JVA Implementation and S/4 upgrade to meet the organization’s needs. Ensure proper integration with other SAP modules and systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within Joint venture accounting and reporting.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of FICO and FI-JVA.
- Candidate must have solid understanding of on S/4 based Joint venture accounting.
- JVA master data setup which includes (Partners, JOA/ JV's, Equity Types Recovery Indicator/ Billing Indicator, Cost Object types) for operated and non-operated scenario with Third party integrations.
- Good understanding integration with Third party solution with SAP FICO and JVA.
- Hands on experience on key JVA Process:
- Cutback
- Equity Adjustments
- Billing
- Bank Switching
- Netting
- Cash Call
- PCO
- RXD
- Allocations
- Interfaces
- Integrations
- Collaborate.
