Role Description
Are you an experienced PHP developer who thrives on building robust back-end systems? Do you have deep expertise in Laravel and REST APIs, and enjoy working with relational databases? If you're looking for an opportunity to work with modern technologies and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!
- Maintain and support our existing Laravel application, including code refactoring and performance optimization.
- Develop new features and functionality aligned with product roadmap goals.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable REST APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
- Collaborate with fellow developers, QA engineers, and team leads in a distributed, Agile environment.
- Write and maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
- Analyze and improve application performance, ensuring fast and efficient execution.
- Implement industry best practices for security, data protection, and system architecture.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in production and staging environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of expert-level experience in PHP and Laravel 11 (latest version and previous three years).
- Highly skilled in REST API development and understand API authentication, rate limiting, and data handling best practices.
- Extensive experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and can write optimized queries and migrations.
- Experience with AWS services such as RDS, S3, and EC2.
- Proficient with Git and understand branching strategies and version control best practices.
- Experience working on SaaS or multi-tenant platforms.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex problems.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript (ES13) and modern front-end frameworks.
- Worked with Vue.js (version 2 & 3) for front-end development.
- Familiar with Laravel Forge for server management and deployments.
- Previous involvement in legacy code refactoring and platform modernization.
