Role Description
This role involves working as a Java Developer in a remote setting.
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
Technology is at the heart of our organization. As part of the tech team you will:
- Understand product requirements and brainstorm ways to address them
- Build features from scratch and have complete ownership for it
- Deliver efficient, reliable, scalable code with high automated test coverage
- Contribute to team decisions in the overall architecture and practices of the company
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in a product-based company
- Experience working with distributed environments
- Comfortable with at least one Object Oriented Programming language - Java or C++
- Exposure to any public cloud
- Good understanding and experience in Python (At least 6 months recent experience)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS like MySQL
- Experience with git
Requirements
- Experience handling highly scalable systems (Good to have)
- Experience with docker and Kubernetes (Good to have)
- Experience with Linux file systems (Good to have)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Good to have)
