Role Description

This role involves evolving our native mobile app as a product-focused iOS engineer.

• Build polished user experiences while balancing well-tested resilient code with fast iteration.
• Work on a product used by over 12 million people, shaping their interaction with finances.
• Collaborate in a small, autonomous product squad with Android Engineers, Backend Engineers, User Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, QA Testers, and Data Scientists.
• Contribute to overall company goals rather than just specific features.
• Engage in weekly iOS discipline meetings to discuss tools, techniques, and codebase improvements.
• Report to an engineering manager for regular 1:1 meetings focused on growth and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in programming in Swift.
• Shipped and iterated on at least one app in the App Store.
• Product mindset with a focus on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions.
• Ability to turn excellent design into beautiful products.
• Comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity.
• Understanding of computer science principles.

Requirements

• Experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with The Composable Architecture.
• Knowledge of Alamofire for networking.
• Experience with unit tests, pseudo-integration tests, snapshot tests, and XCUITest.
