Role Description
Join our dynamic team as a Full Stack Javascript Developer and help shape the future of our innovative Scaling Product. Bring your skills and creativity to a collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions truly matter.
- Collaborate with the team to create and define user stories, ensuring they are clear and actionable.
- Determine the best approaches for developing new features, considering technical feasibility and user impact.
- Develop and document test cases to ensure new features are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to develop software features as per the requirements.
- Engage in stand-ups, sprint planning, and other product development activities, acting as a key voice of the customer.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features that meet user and business requirements.
- Receive positive feedback from users regarding the functionality and usability of the product.
- Receive positive feedback from fellow team members on collaboration, contribution, and code quality.
- Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer for strategic alignment and technical guidance.
- Work closely with the development teams across locations to ensure cohesive and efficient development practices.
- Partner with the Product Manager to align development efforts with product goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with the UX Designer to ensure user-centric design and development.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to the CEO as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
- Experience working in a startup environment or within a small, agile team.
- Experience in Programming Languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (TypeScript and React.js).
- Experience in back-end technology such as Node.js (Koa), MySQL, Nginx/Caddy, and Linux.
- Experience in AWS Cloud Services (EC2 and Amazon S3).
- Experience in Version Control on Git, GitHub, and Azure Repos.
- Experience in Software Engineering Practices such as Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Product strategy and project management skills.
- Data-driven with good decision-making abilities.
