Role Description
This role involves working as a FULL STACK DEVELOPER on multiple projects that may span a broad range of applications.
- Participate in all project planning processes.
- Develop work plan timelines and manage workflows to meet project timeframes.
- Work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements.
- Design, code, test, implement, and support application software delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for system development.
- Identify technical requirements and create technical design specifications.
- Code applications or enterprise-wide software systems using a disciplined development process.
- Lead in the deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
- Provide ongoing maintenance of applications and lead review sessions for optimizing IT development processes.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 production support and troubleshoot existing information systems.
- Document functions and changes to new or modified modules and assist in the development of user guides.
- Adhere to standards and procedures, reviewing modules for quality assurance.
- Evaluate new application packages and tools and perform research on best practices.
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in application development, covering both Front-End and Back-End.
- 5-7 years of experience in application programming and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.
- Knowledge of back-end frameworks and libraries such as Python or Node.js.
- Familiarity with SQL Server or other databases.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Preferred but not required: Knowledge of languages such as C++, C#, Java.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and testing applications using established or emerging technologies.
- Broad understanding of information systems and application architecture standards.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
