Role Description
The Workday Integrations Manager will lead the design, development, and support of Workday integrations for multiple clients, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
- Gather customer requirements and develop scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot complex integration challenges
- Provide new solutions through the modification and implementation of existing software tools and platforms
- Build, test, and deploy integrations utilizing Workday Studio, core connectors, BIRT, and XSLT
- Resolve day-to-day production support tickets for Workday integrations
- Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management
- Gather and create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle
- Develop and maintain complex Workday reports including custom advanced, BIRT reports, matrix, composite reports, and calculated fields
- Configure Workday business process steps
- Assist team with integration security audits to ensure data integrity and system security
- Perform regression testing on integrations during Workday releases
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate data delivery and data management
- Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integration development including Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors
- Proficiency in programming language such as Java
- Working knowledge of XSLT, SOAP, and REST calls
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Experience with one or more workflow languages (CWL, WDL, Nextflow) is a plus
- Familiarity with Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data governance, security, maintenance, and system development life-cycle is a plus
- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities to foster professional growth and development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with passionate stakeholders and users
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related field
