Role Description

For our Department Digital-Technology, we are looking for a Consultant AI Strategy & Transformation (f/m/d). The role is based at our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, and reports to the position Director AI Strategy & Transformation. In this role you will play a pivotal role in the AI Strategy & Transformation initiatives, with targeted contributions expected to reach double-digit millions over the next three years.

Lead designated AI program streams and manage strategic projects, ensuring high-impact outcomes that align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Data & AI Engineering Team to define the roadmap for AI capabilities and use cases, maximizing P&L impact.
Scout and engage with AI startups, universities, and industry partners to enhance our AI capabilities and secure a competitive edge.
Partner with business units and Group functions to identify, develop, and implement AI-driven business cases that address key organizational needs.
Actively contribute to the global AI Engagement Program, helping scale AI use cases across international operations.

Qualifications

Background with top strategy consulting firms, demonstrating a track record of high-impact, strategic initiatives.
Proven ability to lead and take accountability for multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Strong communicator and team player who excels in cross-functional settings and can present complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Solid understanding of AI technology trends, including startup landscapes and academic advancements, and how they drive strategic advantage.
Experience forming and maintaining strategic relationships across business functions, academic institutions, and industry partners.
