Role Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. This role is focused on:
- Designing, prototyping, and implementing systems to manage features via CRUD-like operations, which are then made available in the data warehouse.
- Collaborating with teams across the group to ensure our new service integrates smoothly with existing services used by the platform.
- Partnering with platform teams to ensure their insights are accurately represented and displayed in our platform.
- Leading reviews and creating pathways that help teams improve the overall quality of Canva over time.
Qualifications
- Commercial experience in a software development environment
- Extensive experience with Java, distributed systems, and relational databases
- Ability to write performant, reusable code, including appropriate testing
- Working collaboratively with team members and communicating effectively
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
- Experience working with AWS (nice to have)
- Background in data analytics and/or product measurements (nice to have)
- Experience in full-stack development (nice to have)
