Role Description
This role involves leading a set of engineering teams responsible for Specialty Care experiences at Spring Health.
- Owning development and delivery of specialty care product capabilities
- Applying engineering leadership experience to implement best practices
- Improving engineering velocity and efficiency through investments in developer experience and talent growth
- Providing directional leadership and oversight for strategic product initiatives
- Managing a thriving team of Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers
- Contributing to the Member Experience leadership team and overall product strategy
- Prioritizing and sponsoring engineering initiatives
Qualifications
- At least some experience as a second level engineering manager
- At least 5 years of experience with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript and/or Flutter
- Track record of data fluency and objective measures of impact
- Track record of proactive and collaborative leadership style
- Track record of strong talent management and organizational health success
Requirements
- The role is full time and reports to the VP of Engineering for Member Experience
- Full remote (or optionally hybrid if you live near Manhattan)
- Travel opportunities at least twice per year for in-person events
