Role Description
This position involves performing professional duties related to the selection, development, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance, and efficient utilization of applications software to meet clients’ Information Services (IS) ERP needs.
- Reviews assigned portions of business operations and identifies clients’ information system’s needs.
- Defines processes, problems, and requirements; performs cost/benefit analyses.
- Designs and analyzes business information systems to meet client needs.
- Develops detailed specifications defining functional and reporting requirements.
- Apprises clients of practical implications of information systems changes.
- Recommends appropriate means for delivering necessary applications software.
- Develops and/or modifies custom applications software; writes programs/code.
- Participates in design specification, analysis, development, and testing of reports.
- Installs standard applications software products in clients’ personal computers.
- Performs systems tests, debugs software, and ensures test requirements are met.
- Provides ongoing support to clients for assigned projects.
- Provides individual coaching and training to foster clients’ self-sufficiency.
- May assist in the development of project plans and adheres to timeliness.
- Assists in selection of standard available applications software.
- Maintains knowledge of current products, systems development, and programming techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Current certification(s) or ability to achieve, as required by department.
- 0-5 years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to work off hours and participate in on-call rotation.
- Experience working with Workday as an ERP solution (preferred).
Requirements
- Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Attends variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required.
- Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
- Respects diverse views and approaches; contributes to a professional environment.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required.
