[Hiring] VP of Sales @UserGems

Role Description

UserGems is looking for a VP of Sales to lead and scale our sales team as we grow from 70 to 100+ employees.

• Team leadership:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of full cycle mid-market AEs
  • Design and evolve team structure as we scale
  • Maintain a high performance culture with clear expectations and performance management frameworks
  • Be a true player coach; willing to jump on a call, run a demo, or work a deal alongside your team
• Revenue and pipeline:
  • Own team quota attainment and hold AEs accountable for outbound sourcing targets
  • Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and revenue predictability
  • Serve as an executive sponsor on strategic deals, multi-threaded opportunities, and late-stage negotiations
  • Engage with key prospects and customers at the executive level to accelerate deals and strengthen relationships
  • Feed product, engineering, and marketing teams with frontline market intelligence from AEs, prospects, and customers
• Enablement & Process:
  • Initiate and own projects and process iterations that strengthen team performance
  • Own and evolve commission structure for the team, designing and maintaining plans that reward the right behaviors
  • Partner closely with marketing; both teams are measured by revenue

Qualifications

• 7+ years in B2B SaaS sales with at least 5 years managing a team of full cycle AEs
• Proven track record of building and hitting team quota
• Deep fluency in outbound sales motion; built pipelines and coached others
• Built or overhauled sales programs: playbooks, onboarding, training, comp plans
• Strong forecasting and pipeline management using data to drive decisions
• Track record of hiring well, ramping AEs quickly, and retaining top talent
• Thrived in an early stage, high growth environment
