Role Description
As the Transplant Key Account Manager (TKAM) liaison between Takeda and transplant centers within their designated territory, you will manage the presentation of information about Takeda's transplant products and services to:

Transplant surgeons

Organ specialists
-
Infectious Disease specialists
-
Transplant nurses
-
Pharmacists
-
Financial coordinators
-
Other health care professionals or members of the transplant team
You will develop business plans aligned with corporate goals and support US Business Unit (USBU) products within your assigned territories according to those goals.
How you will contribute:

Achieve or exceed sales targets and Management by Objective (MBO) goals.

Develop strategic account planning, such as uncovering needs, stakeholder/influence mapping, identifying/prioritizing business goals, helping establish value propositions, delivering value propositions developed in collaboration with marketing and managed market teams, developing tactical plans, etc.

Develop a comprehensive, territory-specific business plan which includes strategies aimed at achieving corporate goals.

Gain access for specialty products in accounts regarding protocol access and formulary access, if applicable.

Conduct account management at all transplant centers within the assigned territory, fostering confidence in Takeda's holistic approach to engagement, and assisting with ongoing support.

Develop relationships with Executive Level, Operations, Financial, and Pharmacy-based personnel within each of the transplant centers in their territory.

Call on key stakeholders to position Takeda's products to ensure supply and support of Takeda's product portfolio.

Develop relationships with Thought Leaders and leverage relationships with clinical experts to educate and inform therapeutic processes and protocols at an institution level.

Identify the key stakeholders within each transplant center and their respective needs and priorities, building relationships throughout the organization.

Develop cross-functional business plans and launch business development plans and strategies for large volume/high volume transplant centers.

Attain sales goals and objectives by delivering Business Objectives and prescriber growth, and other key metrics in the assigned Territory.

Use discretion to implement the franchise and company brand strategy within the assigned customer segment.

Develop and evaluate account business plans to ensure they continue to meet strategic goals and align with the latest trends and changes within key customer segments or accounts.

Assess information related to infusion economics, inventory management, reimbursement, procurement, and deployment strategies.

Use available tools and resources to monitor and evaluate industry/managed care trends and communicate relevant information to those impacted.

Work within established protocols to communicate and provide updates and status reports to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Deliver approved messages encompassing accurate clinical, financial, outcomes, and operational issues.

Manage assigned accounts, budget, and allocated resources provided yielding maximum effectiveness.

Be an agent on behalf of assigned customer segment to educate home office personnel on relevant therapeutic account information.

Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to communicate status updates on account issues/trends within their territory.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree β BA/BS or Advanced business or scientific degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, etc.)

5 yearsβ direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, specialty or healthcare industry.

Develop and execute business plans aligned with corporate goals.

Launch business development programs and strategy for execution.
-
Advanced business skills in negotiation, strategy, presentation, analytics, teamwork, and collaboration.
-
Experience within transplant or rare disease, a plus.
-
Account-based sales experience or experience within rare disease developing centers of excellence, a plus.

Experience with buy & bill product selling/account management and understanding payer access and reimbursement, a plus.
-
Pharmaceutical product launch and calling on specialists involved in transplant, a plus.
-
Reside within assigned geography.
Benefits

U.S. Base Salary Range: $160,000.00 - $220,000.00
