[Hiring] TikTok Shop LIVE Host @Common Thread Collective | Part-Time / Contract

Role Description

A TikTok Shop LIVE Host at CTC is the on-camera face of the brands we work with, hosting live shopping streams from home. You combine four skill sets in one role: Creator, Entertainer, Salesperson, and Operator. Your job is to hold attention long enough to turn entertainment into commerce. We are looking for hosts who can run a show, rather than repeat the product, the discount, and “click the basket” on a loop. You will start with one brand, and strong performers will be offered ongoing work across our roster of 50+ brands. If you want to be one of the people who builds that, apply.

Qualifications

• You are committed to making decisions informed by research.
• Your customer service is referenced as the bar that others strive to emulate.
• You take pride in arriving to meetings prepared with insight to contribute.
• You organize your time and say “no” appropriately so that you can attend to what is most critical.
• You are committed to approaching challenge & failure with curiosity about how to improve.
• Your word is trustworthy; you do what you say you will.
• You are passionate about building brands for the next generation.
• You gather context ahead of meetings so that you arrive prepared with insight and input.
• You clearly articulate your expertise so that even a beginner can understand the concept.
• You are in the habit of documenting and reporting your work.
• You seek opportunities to refine your skills without being prompted.
• You desire to inspire others with your excellence and expertise.
• You are willing to put in the reps to be an expert in your domain.
• You resist the temptation to play victim; instead, you take 100% ownership over outcomes.

Requirements

• You host scheduled TikTok Shop live streams from home, building a show with fast demos, challenges, audience voting, giveaways, timed offers, and recurring segments that give viewers a reason to stay even when they are not ready to buy.
• You are natural on camera with a high-energy, personable style.
• You demonstrate products and share key benefits naturally and authentically.
• You follow a brief while improvising in real time when comments, inventory, or offers change.
• You engage chat, answer questions, handle objections, and keep energy high from open to close.
• You have reliable internet, a well-lit space, and an iPhone 15 or later, and handle your own pre-show preparation, including lighting, audio, and connection checks before every stream.
• You hit sales and engagement goals tied to bonus incentives and review performance with our live ops team to refine pitches, segments, and pacing week over week.
• You are consistently reliable and show up prepared to be the face of a repeatable show.

Benefits

• $35 hourly base rate, plus performance bonus incentives tied to sales and engagement goals.
• Employment Type: Contract, remote, Associate seniority level.
• You start with one brand. Strong performers will be offered ongoing work across our roster of 50+ brands.
• All products and stream materials provided.
