[Hiring] Territory Sales Representative @Bad Birdie

Role Description

We’re seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Representative - Florida to help drive growth across our green grass accounts. This role is responsible for managing and expanding an existing book of business while opening new accounts throughout the territory. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, comfortable selling in person, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. You’ll represent Bad Birdie through on-course visits, line reviews, product presentations, and strategic account management while playing a key role in growing our presence across the territory.

• Engagement: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Primary Partner: Head of Sales
• Territory: Florida
• Travel: Frequent travel throughout the territory, including overnight travel as needed

• You’re building strong relationships across your territory and consistently showing up in person with accounts.
• You’re growing the business through a mix of new account wins and expanding existing accounts.
• You run brand-right line reviews and presentations that drive reorders and adoption.
• Your pipeline is healthy and updated, and your follow-through is reliable and on time.
• Internal teams trust you, communication is clear, orders are clean, and issues are flagged early.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Manage and grow an assigned book of green grass accounts across the territory.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, owners, and club professionals.
• Open new accounts and expand Bad Birdie’s footprint within the territory.
• Conduct in-person, brand-driven line reviews and product presentations.
• Identify sales opportunities through sell-through analysis and account performance.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently drive toward targets.
• Partner with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Operations to support accounts.
• Handle territory-related administrative tasks including order entry and follow-up.
• Uphold Bad Birdie’s brand standards and servicing expectations at all times.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within golf, apparel, sporting goods, or a related consumer industry.
• 1+ years of experience in outside, field, or territory sales.
• Strong understanding of the golf industry and green grass channel.
• Existing relationships with golf courses, private clubs, pro shops, buyers, or golf professionals within the territory.
• Experience selling apparel, soft goods, or related products into golf accounts strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to build, manage, and grow client relationships.
• Proven ability to open new accounts and develop new business.
• Comfortable operating independently while staying aligned with a broader sales team.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within the territory.
• Previous independent sales representative experience is a plus.
