[Hiring] Territory Sales Manager @Avantor

Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated Territory Sales Manager for Slovenia to join our international team. In this role, you will be responsible for building sustainable and profitable customer relationships while helping customers achieve their objectives. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to successfully closing deals across Slovenia. Working closely with customers, sales colleagues, and support teams, you will:

• Identify growth opportunities
• Develop key account strategies
• Deliver tailored solutions that drive customer success, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships

This is a full-time, home-based position located in Slovenia. There is also the possibility of engagement as an independent contractor under a service agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or equivalent qualification
• Fluent English and fluent Slovenian (C1/C2 level) are required
• Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in a complex sales environment involving multiple stakeholders and a consultative sales approach
• Experience in distribution and a scientific background or experience working in a laboratory or research environment is an advantage
• Proven track record of delivering sales growth through strategic and consultative selling
• Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with extensive interaction with customers, manufacturers, and colleagues
• Experience using modern sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN Selling, Consultative Selling) and CRM systems

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects effectively
• Ability to analyze and leverage sales data to support business decisions
• Self-motivated, with strong time-management and territory-management skills
• Experience negotiating pricing strategies and contracts for major accounts
• Ability to effectively resolve complex and challenging situations
