Role Description

As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for:

• Executing sales strategies
• Building strong customer relationships
• Meeting ambitious growth targets
• Acting as Halter’s on-the-ground representative

This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, focusing on both expansion and long-term customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day could include:

• Prospecting new business through local cattle auctions and associations
• In-field sales discussions over coffee or while on horseback
• Expanding existing customer opportunities
• Hitting high-growth sales targets
• Managing customer accounts and ensuring ongoing satisfaction
• Owning your territory and building relationships with stakeholders
• Ensuring a smooth customer onboarding experience
• Gathering customer feedback and advocating for their needs
• Collaborating with support teams to resolve customer issues
• Attending industry events to generate leads
• Contributing to the US sales strategy

Qualifications

• Driven attitude and strong communication skills
• Ranching or cattle experience
• Sales and customer success expertise
• Territory management experience
• Problem-solving and collaboration ability
• Willingness to travel frequently

Requirements

• Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies
• Background in customer-facing roles within agriculture technology
• Experience selling software (SaaS) solutions in a B2B environment
