[Hiring] Technical Sales Specialist @H.B. Fuller

Role Description

The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for driving growth within an assigned market. As part of the overlay sales team, this role partners with Account Managers to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through technical expertise and consultative selling.

Serving as the technical expert for the assigned portfolio, this position supports the sales process through:

• Application development
• Product demonstrations
• Troubleshooting
• Customer and sales training
• Technical presentations

The Technical Sales Specialist also:

• Identifies market trends
• Supports new product launches
• Manages technical relationships with key OEMs/AEMs
• Drives the successful conversion of competitive business

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 7 years of relevant technical sales or industry experience; or
• Associate's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience; or
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in technical sales, application development, or customer-facing roles within adhesives.
• Demonstrated success influencing specifications, supporting business conversions, and managing OEM/AEM relationships.
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
