[Hiring] Technical Sales Manager @Polypipe

Role Description

This role will be project focused, to sell the entire range of products which Polypipe Building Services offer into the commercial market. The product ranges include:

• Above ground drainage
• Water supply systems
• Advantage fabrication systems
• All associated building services products/services

Area: Midlands/Central England

We are happy to discuss this role with candidates who do not come directly from a sales background and are looking to get into sales. Candidates who come from a commercial/maintenance/plumbing/installer background who are also interested in getting into sales will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expected conversion rates on a select number of projects following a cradle to grave approach in collaboration with the wider sales team
• Liaise with all key stakeholders on new projects, while documenting progress and activities on all personally assigned opportunities
• Effective and forward diary planning
• Manage Contractor terms and agreements, including regular reviews on levels and spend to justify terms
• Provide first line technical dialogue and information to your selected customer base
• Liaise with clients and deal with objections
• Handle all incoming enquiries quickly and provide excellent customer service to our customers
• Complete all reporting weekly on the CRM system
• Identify incremental growth opportunities
• Represent and support the business at various social and brand awareness events
• Provide site assistance and technical training
• Own the delivery and supply of your projects by supporting our operational departments

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the M&E marketplace
• Proven track record of working on large scale commercial projects
• Capability to handle technical dialogue at all levels
• Experience of presenting to groups
• Ability to quickly become a technical specialist in Polypipe Building Services (PBS products and services)
• Understanding of the project stages and decision making process in commercial construction
• Driving licence is essential for this role as there will be travel involved
