[Hiring] Sales Manager @WALTER GROUP

Role Description

We are now looking for a Sales Manager to drive business development across a defined territory in the UK. In this role, you will work with customers ranging from SMEs to large international organisations, identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships and delivering tailored modular building solutions to meet their needs.

• Driving new business growth by identifying and acquiring customers and distribution partners across your sales area
• Building strong, long-term relationships while maintaining and developing existing accounts
• Managing your sales territory independently, including planning and carrying out customer visits
• Presenting our product portfolio and creating customised modular building solutions for a wide range of customer requirements
• Leading contract negotiations and guiding customers through the full sales cycle
• Monitoring market trends, identifying opportunities and contributing to regional sales strategies
• Working closely with internal teams, including Customer Service, Engineering and Finance to deliver the best customer outcomes
• Continuously developing your product and market knowledge through structured training programmes

Qualifications

• Completed technical or business-related education, with a good level of technical understanding
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders
• Independent, self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage a territory effectively from a home-based role
• Commercially aware, ambitious and driven to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Confident using digital tools and CRM systems
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally internationally (approx. 50%+ travel)
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent command of English
