Role Description
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving regional growth and expanding adoption of BillionToOne's UNITYβ’ prenatal screening platform across an assigned Region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role focuses on developing and growing strategic customer relationships within assigned health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), large physician groups, and key provider accounts.
The Strategic Account Manager partners closely with internal sales, clinical, medical affairs, customer success, and market access teams to identify growth opportunities, execute account plans, and support successful implementation and ongoing utilization of UNITYβ’. This is a remote field-based position with approximately travel throughout the assigned region.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional account plans to increase adoption and utilization of UNITYβ’ across assigned regional health systems.

Build and maintain strong, impactful relationships with physicians, practice administrators, health system stakeholders, and other key decision-makers within the assigned health systems to secure UNITY utilization.

Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and secure new business within assigned regional accounts.

Partner with Regional Sales Managers, Prenatal Account Executives, and cross-functional teams to support customer onboarding, and successful implementation across enablers such as EMR and phlebotomy.

Conduct business reviews and maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.

Analyze account performance and territory data to prioritize opportunities and maximize regional sales results.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of BillionToOne's products, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.

Accurately maintain customer information, sales activities, and pipeline within CRM tools.

Represent BillionToOne professionally at customer meetings, regional conferences, and industry events.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 5 years of successful sales or account management experience within diagnostics, genomics, molecular diagnostics or women's health.

Experience calling on hospitals, health systems, IDNs, or large physician practices within assigned region preferred.

Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.

Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.

Outstanding collaboration skills.

Ability to analyze territory performance and prioritize opportunities to drive growth.

Working knowledge of the diagnostic reimbursement and healthcare delivery environment is preferred.

Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.

Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout the assigned region.

Total compensation rate of $264,880 per year, including a base salary rate of $208,592 per year.
