Role Description

As the Strategic Account Manager for Speakman, you will lead and manage complex customers within a specific Hospitality channel focus (that cross over multiple District’s). Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Formulating and executing strategies
• Overseeing financial metrics
• Enhancing customer relationships
• Collaborating with regional and divisional offices
• Working closely with field sales teams to implement initiatives and drive business growth

This position is remote based with preference for the individual to be in a major metropolitan area.

If you are the ideal candidate, you will have a strong understanding and experience of the hospitality channel with sales route to market and have direct experience in the building and construction industry, particularly with large national accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Minimum of seven (7) years of successful sales, strategic account management, or related business development experience
• Demonstrated understanding of the assigned sales channel, including customer buying behaviors, distribution models, and route-to-market strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% (approximately three weeks per month)

Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Preferred)
• Experience managing large national accounts within the manufacturing, building products, plumbing, HVAC, industrial, or related distribution industries (Preferred)
