[Hiring] ServiceNow Business Development Manager @Vector 70

Role Description

Your job is to create qualified sales opportunities (SQLs) for Vector 70 services. To do this you'll leverage your ServiceNow network (account executives, solution consultants, and industry contacts), attend events, and do cold outreach to curated prospecting lists. Your mix of sales activity will shift as you determine what channels produce results.

You find and qualify the opportunities, then the rest of the team solutions and closes them. You're rewarded when SQLs are created and as they progress through the sales process. No waiting until deals close to receive variable compensation.

What you'll do

• Generate a steady flow of SQLs that meet a clear, written definition
• Prospect every day by phone, email, and LinkedIn into curated account lists, intent data, and event attendee lists
• Follow up on events we host or attend, and turn conversations into meetings
• Build and work your network across ServiceNow sales, solution consulting, and industry contacts. Give first: share intel, pass along leads, and help them win
• Represent Vector 70 at ServiceNow events, roadshows, user groups, and Knowledge
• Hand qualified opportunities to our sales team with clean, useful notes
• Keep HubSpot accurate: every contact, activity, and opportunity

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in business development, sales development, or sales, ideally at ServiceNow or a ServiceNow partner
• A track record of creating pipeline through outreach at volume: phone, email, and LinkedIn
• A network of ServiceNow sellers, solution consultants, or industry contacts who will take your call
• Experience selling or prospecting professional services, not only software licenses
• Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and how ServiceNow sells
• Drive and persistence. You'd rather make the call than wait for the perfect email

Requirements

• Previous work experience at ServiceNow or a ServiceNow partner
• Experience in CPQ, Security & Risk (SecOps, IRM), CRM, or data and AI conversations
• Experience with HubSpot, Salesloft or Outreach, and ZoomInfo

Compensation

• Base salary: 75,000 - 90,000, based on experience
• Variable compensation: paid quarterly on accepted SQLs, plus a bonus for each new customer that signs. Target variable pay is 40,000 - 50,000, with no cap
• We're a small firm and don't offer a company health plan yet. We set pay above market so you can buy comparable coverage on your own

Benefits

• Unlimited, untracked PTO, which includes paid sick leave as required by state law
• Fully remote, with paid travel to ServiceNow events and customer meetings
• Retirement and medical benefits are on our roadmap

Company Description

Vector 70 is a new consulting firm with 15 years of experience. The company is new; the people aren't. Our founders have previously founded and exited a successful consulting firm, now we've teamed up with ServiceNow veterans to build something that is cutting edge but grounded in real results for customers.

We help companies put AI and automation to work in the real world. ServiceNow is our core practice, and we pair it with Anthropic and Databricks to solve problems that don't fit inside one platform. Within ServiceNow we focus on Security & Risk, CRM, and Workflow Data Fabric, and we deliver ITSM and ITOM work across the board.
