[Hiring] Senior Territory Manager @Halter

Role Description

As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for:

• Executing sales strategies
• Building strong customer relationships
• Meeting ambitious growth targets
• Acting as Halter’s on-the-ground representative

This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, focusing on:

• Expansion and long-term customer satisfaction
• Optimizing growth performance
• Driving value for customers

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Support, and other regional sales teams, to share field insights and ensure Halter’s technology meets the needs of farmers. Your contributions will directly support Halter’s mission to support 50% of the world's habitable landmass to be more productive and sustainable.

Qualifications

• Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
• Understanding of post-sales value building and experience upselling to grow partnerships
• Knowledge of beef operations and the unique challenges of the industry, or a deep passion to learn
• Ability to manage a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success
• Resourceful and quick-thinking, working well with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel frequently within your territory

Requirements

• Prospecting and sourcing new leads through proactive outreach, referrals, and industry events
• Managing the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close
• Maintaining close relationships with customers post-sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction
• Assisting in the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product
• Gathering customer feedback and sharing insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
• Partnering with the Support Team to resolve customer issues quickly

Halter entered Tasmania two years ago and has rapidly expanded to now have 20% of the state's dairy herd with Halter. The company is now fully operational in Queensland, NSW, and Victoria, with a growing team and customer base across all three states. In South Australia, Halter is preparing to launch operations following recent regulatory approval for virtual fencing.
