Role Description
Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Specialist located in our Pacific Northwest region. This role focuses on supporting small to medium-size customers and managing distribution within the market. In addition, you will work with large accounts, oversee non-selling processes, and build strong relationships with key influencers.

Generate leads and define sales territories.

Manage sales analytics and provide technical solutions to customer challenges.

Engage through multiple communication channels—face-to-face, by phone, or via email.

Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the region.

Understand customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain market share.

Search for new product development opportunities within the market.

Maintain customer relationships and expand network within a customer’s organization.

Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value.

Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain.

Collect and utilize market intelligence to shape sales plan.

Lead and conduct negotiations and develop price strategies aligned with business goals.

Collaborate with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.
Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.

The ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.

Commercial Acumen: Previous commercial/customer-interfacing related experience.

Sales Process: Prior sales experience including demonstrated ability to identify and deliver cross-business sales.

Sales Analytics Tools: Proficiency in CRM, DSR, OMP, SmartPrice, & Microsoft Office.

Communication: Fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Customer Relationship Building: Excellent phone and cold calling skills.

Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills.
