[Hiring] Senior Sales Manager @National Mortgage Staffing

Role Description

A growing mortgage lender is hiring an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead its wholesale division. This role is responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a team of wholesale Account Executives while driving production through mortgage broker relationships, stronger market coverage, and disciplined sales execution. The strongest candidate will bring deep wholesale mortgage sales experience, strong Non-QM knowledge, established broker relationships, and a proven ability to coach Account Executives and grow production.

• Recruit, train, coach, and manage wholesale Account Executives
• Set team production goals and manage accountability across submissions, locks, funded volume, and broker relationships
• Develop sales strategies to expand market coverage and grow existing accounts
• Build and maintain strong mortgage broker and referral relationships
• Guide Account Executives on Non-QM, DSCR, RTL, and commercial mortgage products
• Help AEs structure loan scenarios and work through eligibility questions with underwriting
• Monitor pipelines and identify stalled or at-risk loans
• Partner with underwriting, closing, and operations to resolve issues
• Analyze production activity and prioritize growth opportunities
• Ensure sales activities follow company policies, investor guidelines, and applicable compliance requirements

Qualifications

• 10 years of mortgage origination experience
• At least 2 years of mortgage sales management experience
• Wholesale mortgage sales experience
• Demonstrated success in Non-QM lending
• Experience managing, coaching, and building a wholesale sales team
• Experience recruiting and developing Account Executives
• Strong knowledge of Non-QM products and wholesale loan scenarios
• Established mortgage broker relationships
• Proven record of growing mortgage production
• Strong leadership, communication, recruiting, and relationship management skills
• Ability to analyze pipelines and coordinate across underwriting, closing, and operations
• DSCR experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of RTL, rehab, construction, and commercial mortgage products preferred
• Experience with Encompass, Modex, and HubSpot preferred
