[Hiring] Sales Manager @EER Poland

Role Description

A Polish company operating in the fresh fruit and vegetable wholesale and export industry is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to develop the Czech market. The company cooperates with Polish growers and suppliers and has its own warehouse facilities, enabling product consolidation and deliveries to international customers. It is a relatively small and dynamic organisation offering a high level of autonomy, quick decision-making and direct cooperation with the company owner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for independently developing profitable wholesale sales of fresh fruit and vegetables in the Czech market through:

• Acquiring new customers
• Building long-term business relationships
• Efficiently coordinating deliveries

The role requires a strong understanding of the entire commercial process — from product sourcing and pricing calculations to organising deliveries to customers.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in active B2B sales
• Previous experience in the fresh fruit and vegetable trade, preferably in wholesale or international sales
• Very good knowledge of the Czech market and local trading practices
• Proven ability to independently acquire new customers
• Experience in price negotiations and managing the full sales cycle
• Understanding of seasonality, fresh produce quality and the specific requirements of fresh produce logistics
• Ability to plan orders and deliveries while taking transportation costs into account
• Fluent Czech
• A self-driven, entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach
• Category B driving licence and willingness to visit customers

Requirements

• Existing business relationships with Czech wholesalers, importers and distributors (nice to have)
• Experience in full-pallet and full-truckload sales (nice to have)
• Knowledge of Polish or English (nice to have)
• Experience working with Polish growers and exporters (nice to have)
• Practical knowledge of route planning and order consolidation (nice to have)
• Previous experience in a small or medium-sized trading company (nice to have)
