[Hiring] Sales Manager @Spiideo

Role Description

Spiideo is looking to expand the North American Ice Hockey team with the addition of a Sales Manager targeting youth, high school and amateur ice hockey. As a Sales Manager at Spiideo, you will:

• Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, including:
  • Prospecting and lead qualification
  • Lead product demonstrations and presentations
  • Negotiating terms and pricing
  • Closing deals
• Sell to elite youth, HS and amateur teams and leagues throughout the ice hockey pyramid.
• Meet and exceed quota targets set for establishing sales of products and services.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies, campaigns, and collateral materials to support lead generation and conversion.
• Collaborate closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation and ongoing support.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports, utilizing CRM software to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities (Salesforce and Hubspot).
• Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills through training programs, workshops, and self-study.
• Attend industry events and tournaments, including traveling/presenting when necessary.
• Travel to Europe/Sweden for annual company offsite.

Qualifications

• Passion and knowledge about sports and technology to effectively relate to and communicate with potential customers.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience with a proven track record of success from B2B sales in the Sports Tech industry.
• Strong preference for experience selling into ice hockey clubs, schools, and leagues.
• Knowledge and network in the sport of ice hockey, especially as it relates to the North American pyramid.
• Strong experience in prospecting, lead generation, and managing the entire sales cycle.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and solutions to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, understand their challenges, and position Spiideo's offerings as a valuable solution.
• Self-motivated and target-driven individual with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high-activity space.
• Enthusiastic, positive, and growth mindset with creative problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Location

This is a remote position for someone located in the United States. Philadelphia vicinity is a plus. You will report to the VP of Sales for Elite Sports Sales, North America. Spiideo HQ is located in Malmo, Sweden.
