[Hiring] Sales Manager @Sojern

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business growth for Sojern’s Property Ad Solutions in Croatia and other Central & Eastern European markets. This is an Individual Contributor role where you will utilise Sojern’s full suite of digital marketing solutions, including SEM, Metasearch, Display, Social, Email, Native, and Video, to help hotels increase direct bookings.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Building a strong and diversified sales pipeline.
• Consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

As a highly driven self-starter with a strong hunter mindset, you will:

• Understand the varying needs of different hotel segments.
• Anticipate marketing and branding challenges.
• Deliver compelling, tailored pitches that influence key decision-makers.
• Leverage expertise in digital advertising and consultative selling.
• Build long-term partnerships and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in business development, preferably within digital marketing or hospitality.
• Professional fluency in English and Croatian; additional Central & Eastern European languages are a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of the latest advertising trends, channels, and best practices, with hands-on experience in selling media solutions to hotels.
• Familiarity with the hospitality sector, enabling quick understanding of hotel-specific challenges and opportunities.
• Proven ability to identify and nurture prospects, maintaining a robust and diversified pipeline.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets using data-driven strategies.
• Collaborative spirit and willingness to work cross-functionally.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and competitor analysis.
• Proficiency with standard business and sales software, including Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.

Requirements

• Develop and grow a high-value pipeline by owning and expanding a portfolio of independent and regional chain hotel clients.
• Consistently meet and exceed new business targets through high-velocity sales activity.
• Design compelling pitches using insights to highlight Sojern’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with regional booking engines and other partners to uncover new client opportunities.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions.
• Work closely with Onboarding, CSM teams, Marketing/PR, Product, and other regional sales teams.
• Be prepared to travel regionally for client meetings and industry events.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest ad tech innovations and hospitality marketing practices.
