[Hiring] Sales Manager @Danaher

Role Description

The Sales Manager LSR CEE is responsible for leading regional (or district or national) sales. This position reports to the Sales Director Central & Eastern Europe and is part of the Commercial Central & Eastern Europe Team working remotely.

• Sales Leadership & Strategy: Drive sustainable sales growth in the CEE Life Sciences business by achieving revenue targets, executing market-focused strategies, and leveraging market insights to identify growth opportunities.
• People Leadership: Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing sales team while building organizational capabilities and ensuring the required competencies to achieve business objectives.
• Sales Execution & Forecasting: Drive sales excellence through performance management, accurate forecasting, and effective use of CRM and sales tools to achieve business targets and ensure execution transparency.
• Key Account Management: Support strategic customer engagements and complex sales opportunities by building strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with Business Units, Marketing, and EDC to drive customer success and leverage customer insights to support product innovation and business growth.

Qualifications

• University degree in Life Sciences, ideally at Master’s or PhD level.
• Extensive sales experience in Life Sciences academia, biopharma, and biotech environments.
• Proven leadership experience in managing, coaching, and developing sales teams, including at least 2 years leading teams of 5 or more sales associates.
• Strong knowledge of clinical and translational research, biopharma, and biotech segments, including workflows, product applications, and portfolio selling.
• Established network within translational research and/or biopharma.
• Solid experience with CRM systems, forecasting tools, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in German and English.

Requirements

• Ability to travel – 50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
