[Hiring] Sales Manager @ParentSquare

Role Description

You have sales in your DNA and possess a remarkable ability to build relationships, communicate value propositions clearly, and guide prospects to closing contracts. As a member of our SMB Sales team, you’ll have significant insight and contacts within your book of business and you’ll maintain a pipeline of leads that you’ll work to convert into sales as well as conduct outreach for upsell and cross-selling opportunities. Your entrepreneurial mindset and drive for success motivate you daily as you collaborate with your manager and colleagues to effectively serve our SMB customers and exceed your ARR goals. Most importantly, you’re someone who shares our passion for improving the lives of students through communication.

This role will include:

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of what drives purchasing decisions in your territory, utilizing the tools and resources provided by the company.
• Knowing the ParentSquare platform inside and out so that you can effectively communicate our key features, benefits, and differentiators to prospects.
• Possessing a consultative selling approach to understanding a client’s need and customizing a solution that meets that need in a high volume environment.
• Influencing, working, and providing strategy for RFPs, ensuring that our proposals are tailored to meet the unique needs of each school district.
• Managing, tracking, and keeping your pipeline well-organized using Hubspot.
• Creating a territory plan that aligns with meeting a revenue goal.
• Closing business and driving revenue in a strategic and methodical way by studying and navigating the sales process, engaging stakeholders and decision makers, conducting effective demos, and ultimately obtaining a signed contract.
• Working closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handover post-sale with detailed and accurate notes from the sales process.
• Being a champion of ParentSquare’s value proposition and reputation at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the K-12 Education industry specifically within high volume accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed quota consistently with focus on SMB customers.
• Proven track record of selling solutions with persuasive closing techniques.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or like experience.
• Hubspot experience, preferred.
• Tech savvy (from GSuite to navigating our platform).
• Ability (and desire) to travel extensively.

The salary range for this role will be $65,000-$95,000 + commissions, DOE.
