Effectively deploy marketing strategies and tools to ensure top-of-mind recall for Chr. Hansen products and services.

Responsible for Chr. Hansen sales and distribution of products to identified accounts and distributors.
Job Responsibility

Primary Responsibility – SALES
-
Responsible for sales of ingredients to major customers, managing pricing and margin according to regional targets and priorities.
-
Mapping of accounts and market, developing and executing a 3-year strategy plan for key accounts.
-
Responsible for delivering agreed annual sales budget for accounts and distributors in the region.
-
Provide reports on account sales, development projects, and forecasts on a monthly basis.
-
Ensure technical support and product training for customers by coordinating with local labs.
-
Conduct market and competitor surveys as required.
-
Follow up on overdue customer accounts.
-
Responsible for coordinating participation in relevant fairs and exhibitions to ensure optimal visibility of CH as a quality ingredient supplier.

Liaise where appropriate with business development.

Understand and use Chr. Hansen sales tools including SAP and BI database; build and track project progression in Salesforce.

Ensure support to the sales team for innovation/inspiration days by coordinating with the marketing team.

Develop and maintain key external business relationships needed to implement growth strategy and business development activities.

Thorough understanding of customer needs, both stated and unarticulated.

Qualifications

Required Dairy Technologist.
-
Bachelor or Master in Dairy Technology/Dairy Science/Food Science from a reputed Institute or University or College of Dairy Technology with relevant experience.

Experience
-
Preferred candidate with knowledge of the Dairy Industry, network with existing distributors, and sales skills with 10+ years of overall work experience and a minimum of 5 years in Sales.

Good communication and presentation skills in English; ability to speak and understand regional South Indian languages is an added advantage.

Good knowledge in Food & Dairy Industry.
