[Hiring] Sales Executive, Automation @SS&C Technologies

Role Description

SS&C Blue Prism is hiring a senior, self-directed Public Sector hunter to build net-new business across Federal civilian, Department of Defense, and State & Local government accounts. We are seeking an accomplished Federal Sales Executive with established agency relationships, a strong hunter mentality, and a proven ability to build pipeline and work closely with our partners, peers and SS&C ecosystem to expand our market share.

• Find opportunities, qualify against mission and budget, navigate the acquisition process.
• Co-sell with our alliance and channel ecosystem (GSIs, resellers, and government aggregators).
• Source and close government business from a cold start.
• Hold credible technical conversations with CIOs, program managers, and contracting officers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years selling enterprise software, intelligent automation, AI, workflow, or SaaS solutions into U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Demonstrated history of self-generated pipeline and net-new logo acquisition in government.
• Sold AI-based or machine-learning-driven SaaS software and services into government.
• Consistent attainment against a $1.5M+ annual new-business quota.
• Working knowledge of the Federal and State procurement lifecycle.
• Proven experience selling through and with Public Sector channel partners.
• Sufficient technical fluency in automation, AI/ML, integration patterns, identity and security controls, and cloud architecture.
• Comfortable being the most senior SS&C Blue Prism person in the account.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator.

• Lives in the Washington, DC metropolitan region (DC, Northern Virginia, or Maryland).
• Ruthless focus on results (pipeline, revenue, profit).
• Strong organizational skills and clean CRM hygiene.
• Ability to produce government-grade proposals, capability statements, and executive briefings.
