Role Description
Responsible for sales success and strategy across different market segments including power generation, manufacturing, and transportation. Manage the existing customer portfolio while developing new customers and product opportunities. Provide on-site technical support including data collection, component specification and troubleshooting.
Main Accountabilities

Extensive customer travel requirements within the western United States, including trade shows and other business events.

Achieve revenue targets, margin projections, sales quotas while increasing market share.

Foster and nurture existing customer relationships for growth expectations.

Technical data collection and initial analysis of customer processes in support of business initiatives.

Perform routine testing and/or diagnostics for customer-based solutions and innovations.

Hands-on work with customer solutions, products; interpret drawings, specifications, or schematics.

Continually seek and develop new business, add-on business, prospects through networking, cold calling, and other prospecting methods.

Track, follow-up and monitor all leads and sales opportunities in a timely manner using CRM.

Respond to Requests for Quotes, Requests for Pricing, Requests for information and other procurement contracts within the expected time frames and/or deadlines.

Responsible for building annual budgets, action plans & monthly reporting/analysis of results.

Maintain test logs, surveys, and data sheets on customer equipment for report generation, analysis and parts specification.

Abide by all site-specific safety protocol while working around high-voltage electrical equipment.

Professionally represent the company at all times, including trade shows and business events.

Work cohesively and interface with internal resources, customer service, technical, R&D, operations.

If necessary, manage, motivate and facilitate success of an independent rep network within territory.

All other sales-related or management assigned duties pertaining to the business operations.
Qualifications
-
Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

3+ yearsโ technical outside sales experience; motor/generator and/or hydroelectric industry experience a plus.

Technical knowledge of rotating electrical equipment.

Highly organized with attention to detail.

Available for up to 60% travel to service customer base.

Computer savvy; Microsoft Office Suite and CRM-Salesforce; and JDE a plus.

Requirements

Salary: $85K - $95k + 15% sales bonus + 5% regional bonus + car.

Remote based out of WA/OR/CA.
