Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer for After Sales Service in the biogas sector, with a strong technical background and a solid network within the industry. The successful candidate will focus on public customers and act as a key link between clients and our service organization.

Achieve sales targets in After Sales Service (revenue, margin, and market penetration)

Increase the number of customers and expand market share

Strengthen customer loyalty and long-term relationships

Enhance the company’s image in all external interactions

Ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective execution of all tasks
Sales & Customer Management

Advise customers on service products for biogas plants (applications, benefits, optimization potential)

Maintain and develop strong relationships through regular customer visits

Manage and coordinate a network of existing customers

Identify and acquire new customers, with a focus on public sector clients

Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and coordinate internally
Business Development

Develop and implement new sales strategies

Contribute to market-appropriate pricing in collaboration with internal departments

Identify market trends and opportunities within the biogas sector
-
Drive market penetration and expansion activities
Operational Coordination

Initiate and coordinate service orders in close collaboration with the Service Office

Ensure customer requests and feedback are processed efficiently

Support internal teams with customer insights and requirements
Reporting & Analysis

Maintain sales statistics and performance tracking

Provide regular reporting on activities, opportunities, and market developments
Qualifications

Technical background (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering)

Solid experience in the biogas or renewable energy sector

Strong network within the biogas industry (especially in Italy)

Proven experience in technical sales or after-sales service

Strong customer orientation and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage a distributed customer base

High level of flexibility and willingness to travel
Requirements
