[Hiring] Sales Engineer @Cribl

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll get to flex your technical chops and storytelling skills by helping customers uncover the full potential of Cribl in real-world environments. With the freedom of remote work and the excitement of solving unique data challenges, every day brings something new—and impactful.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will:

• Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process
• Demo the product suite and answer technical questions during pre-sales motions
• Lead the proof-of-concept experience through guided sessions with prospects
• Act as an ongoing, trusted technical advisor to existing customers, understanding their environment and how Cribl can continuously add value
• Document interesting domain use cases in blog posts and product documentation
• Travel up to 30% to support customers and marketing events
• Occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours

Qualifications

• Experience with Logs, Metrics, IT Operations and Security
• Background of successfully selling deals to SLED customers
• Background in Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or Support
• Experience working with multiple environments (AWS, Azure, on-prem) and operating systems (proficiency with Linux a must)
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Regex, and KQL
• Prior Cribl product experience. Even better if you have feedback!
• Experience working remotely with travel to support in-person meetings and events
• You reside in the Southeast or Midwest United States

Requirements

• The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location and will be based on the individual candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
• In addition to base salary, for sales and some sales-adjacent roles, employees are eligible to earn incentive compensation (commission).
• For all other roles, employees are eligible to participate in the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program.
• Base Salary Range: $140,000 — $182,000 USD
