[Hiring] Sales Director @CSG

Role Description

CSG is looking for a dynamic Sales Director to drive growth of our Customer Experience (CX) portfolio across a set of high-value Strategic Accounts. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Accounts, you will shape and execute account strategies that help our customers modernize how they engage, support, and retain their end customers across every channel.

You will be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, positioning CSG’s AI-enabled CX capabilities to solve complex business problems and deliver measurable value.

What You’ll Do

• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic CX accounts.
• Build and execute account plans focused on expanding adoption of CSG’s AI-enabled CX solutions.
• Deeply understand each customer’s CX strategy, pain points, and roadmap.
• Drive new CX revenue within existing accounts.
• Prospect and create new CX opportunities within existing strategic accounts and named new logo prospects.
• Qualify opportunities, shape solution direction with internal teams, and drive deals to closure.
• Develop and execute territory and prospecting strategies to land new customers.
• Identify, engage, and build relationships with executive stakeholders.
• Drive new revenue through partner-sourced opportunities.
• Lead and close partner-referred and co-sell deals.
• Lead discovery, run CX value conversations, and deliver compelling presentations and demos.
• Develop, write, and deliver high-quality proposals and RFX responses.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contractual agreements.
• Lead and coordinate internal SMEs, solution consultants, and partners.
• Build senior-level relationships to help customers define and deliver CX transformation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of formal field sales experience within CSG’s target markets.
• 8+ years of sales experience identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing prospects.
• Demonstrated success driving the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close.
• Strong Client Relationship Management skills.
• Experience driving transformational change within target accounts.
• Ability to communicate clear value propositions through presentations, proposals, and business cases.

Requirements

• Preference for candidates with experience selling contact center, messaging, or broader CX solutions.
• Familiarity with market trends in leveraging AI.
