[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @SummitNext Technologies Sdn Bhd

Role Description

• Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to potential and existing customers in Singapore using the provided customer database and leads.
• Engage customers professionally, understand their needs, and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Present, promote, and explain products and services using persuasive and consultative communication skills.
• Qualify leads and successfully set appointments for the sales team based on defined criteria.
• Follow up consistently with leads generated through marketing campaigns, databases, and other sources.
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly calling, qualified lead, appointment-setting, and sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, lead status, call outcomes, and appointments in the CRM system.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Handle customer objections, rejection, and enquiries professionally.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure qualified appointments and leads are properly handed over.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
• Ensure all customer interactions are conducted professionally and in accordance with company and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in telemarketing, telesales, business development, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
• Strong outbound telemarketing experience is required, particularly experience in calling customers and setting appointments.
• Proven track record of successfully generating qualified leads and securing sales appointments over the phone.
• Experience handling Singapore customers will be a strong advantage.
• Candidates with experience in BPO, call centre, telesales, telemarketing, inside sales, or business development are highly preferred.
• Experience in lending, loans, SME loans, financial products, or financial services will be an added advantage.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is required to support Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in handling objections, rejection, and difficult customer conversations.
• Persuasive, persistent, and results-oriented with a positive attitude and strong resilience.
• Patient and comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
• Strong follow-up and appointment-setting skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems and relevant computer applications.
• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
