[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @Hire Overseas

Role Description

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel for a boutique management consulting firm serving clients across emerging technology verticals and senior care. You will work a pre-sourced prospect list, make outbound calls, qualify leads against a defined Ideal Customer Profile, and book meetings directly onto the calendars of senior closers. This is a high-output, execution-focused role with direct access to firm leadership and no agency layer in between.

Communication quality is everything in this role. You are the first impression. Every call is a reflection of the firm's brand, and the standard is high.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an outbound SDR or BDR role with a track record of booked meetings
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, clear, confident, and professional on every call
• Comfortable with high call volumes and a structured dialing process
• Familiarity with Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting and enrichment tools
• Experience with power dialers and CRM platforms for activity tracking and reporting
• Ability to learn a service offering, internalize an ICP, and communicate value quickly
• Self-managed and disciplined, able to work independently during US business hours
• Proactive communicator who closes loops without being asked

Requirements

• Make outbound calls to cold prospects from a provided lead list using a power dialer
• Handle initial objections professionally and represent the firm well on every call
• Disqualify prospects who are not a fit quickly and move on
• Qualify prospects against a defined Ideal Customer Profile before booking meetings
• Book qualified meetings directly onto the calendars of senior closers
• Build and maintain prospect lists using Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Keep CRM records, call notes, and dispositions accurate and up to date
• Record calls and document outcomes for review and coaching
• Share structured feedback on messaging, objections, and prospect response patterns
• Communicate updates and blockers proactively through Slack, email, and regular check-ins
