[Hiring] Regional Sales Manager @Ebara Pumps Americas Corporation

Role Description

The position is responsible for sales of all Ebara Standard pump products and accessories within the defined OEM region.

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
• Act in a safe manner at all times and ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
• Identify and develop a strategy to secure and grow new and existing OEM accounts in the defined region utilizing pumps manufactured by Ebara.
• Provide accurate forecasts for all products for identified OEM accounts.
• Communicate regularly with Management and utilize tools provided to develop viable strategies to close new OEM accounts.
• Utilize CRM (Salesforce) for tracking relevant calls, emails, meetings, and opportunities.
• Provide timely submission of weekly and monthly required reports, including calendar, call reports, and expense reports.
• Communicate and coordinate tasks with support staff; applications, customer service, and field service teams.
• Develop and present product presentations utilizing samples and various tools provided by Ebara to promote the features and benefits of Ebara products and systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Technical Degree and/or 4 years of centrifugal pumps sales experience.
• Able to communicate via email and utilize software products available from Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop and lead group presentations.
• History of success in achieving sales targets and goals.

Requirements

• This position requires employees to travel in several modes of private or public transportation including private auto, taxi, bus, train, or airplane (>/=50%).
• Employee will have their own work space in a home office environment equipped with basic office equipment including a desk, chair, telephone, headset, and computer.
• Extended or a flexible work schedule is often required over the traditional 8 to 5 workday.

Physical Requirements

• Employee must be capable of normal office demands as well as travel via car and/or plane on a regular basis.
• Travel away from the home office a minimum of 60% of the time may be required to meet the defined sales objectives for the territory.
