[Hiring] Regional Sales Manager @Fieldpiece Instruments

Role Description

We're looking for entrepreneurial sales professionals who want the freedom to build your distributor network, develop strong customer relationships, and make a meaningful impact within the HVACR tools and instruments space. This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature territory and simply maintain existing accounts. You'll own the growth for your territory by:

• Identifying new distributor partners
• Strengthening existing relationships
• Helping our customers grow their business with Fieldpiece products

You'll spend your time in the field meeting distributors, leaders of HVACR training schools, and service companies to develop the business, train sales teams, and provide product demonstrations. You'll identify and drive new opportunities and become the trusted advisor your customers and distributors rely on. You'll have the autonomy to manage your territory like it's your own business while working alongside a collaborative international team that's committed to your success.

This is an individual contributor position responsible for growing sales and does not have direct reports. You'll work remotely from home and must live within the Rome metropolitan or Lazio area. Travel is an essential part of the role and typically includes 2–3 overnight trips per week to visit distributors, contractors, industry events, and customer locations throughout your territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience selling through distribution channels to grow revenue and market share.
• Experience working in the HVACR industry or a closely related industry that sells through the same distributor network (such as tools, test & measurement, plumbing, electrical, industrial, or building products).
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and provide training and technical product demonstrations.
• Excellent training, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Professional-level English with the ability to confidently communicate with international colleagues and fluency in Italian.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout your territory, including 2–3 overnight trips per week.

Requirements

• Grow sales by developing relationships with existing and new HVACR distributors throughout your assigned territory.
• Partner with distributor sales teams through product training, joint sales calls, demonstrations, and sales support.
• Provide training to sales teams and HVACR technicians.
• Identify new business opportunities and execute territory growth plans to increase market share.
• Represent Fieldpiece at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
• Manage your sales pipeline, market intelligence, and customer activity in CRM while collaborating closely with the broader EMEA sales team.
