Role Description
This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in an assigned geography. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role. The PROS (PIK3CA-Related Overgrowth Spectrum) Rare Disease Business Leader will execute key priorities with a rare-disease-specific focus across large, complex Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and other relevant accounts serving multidisciplinary customer groups.

Drive demand and influence decision-making among local and national Medical Experts (MEs) and other key healthcare professionals (HCPs) within Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and assigned accounts.

Prioritize education on PROS, challenge existing approaches to patient management when appropriate, communicate the product’s value compliantly, and position it within the broader therapeutic and disease-management landscape.

Develop, coordinate, and execute account-focused strategic commercial business plans that align account-specific objectives with Novartis’ commercial strategy.

Support the design and implementation of educational programs for multidisciplinary teams to promote appropriate awareness, identification, and care of patients with PROS.

Collaborate with Novartis cross-functional partners and key account personnel to deliver a cohesive “One Novartis” experience.

Engage relevant stakeholders across assigned accounts by mapping customer needs, building relationships, and delivering solutions for complex customer groups.

Adapt effectively across engagement channels and use digital tools and platforms to address customer needs, including virtual interactions with HCPs.

Identify potential patients through lead generation and prospecting, evaluate opportunities, and determine the appropriate resources needed to support follow-through.

Gather actionable customer insights across the assigned geography and communicate findings clearly to field and headquarters teams.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required from a 4-year college or university.

7+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries.

3+ years’ experience managing complex accounts, including large academic centers and hospitals.

Demonstrated healthcare ecosystem thinking and technology/digital engagement proficiency.

Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate across functions in a matrixed environment.
Requirements

Candidate must reside within the assigned territory or in a territory immediately adjacent to the assigned territory.

Must be able to travel 60-80% of the time over a broad geography.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Driving is an essential function of this role.
Benefits

The salary for this position is expected to range between $168,000 and $312,000 per year.

Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and eligibility for annual equity awards.
