Role Description

The Proposal & Contract Specialist, working under close supervision, prepares and edits sales-related documents to support the sales process. Utilizing enterprise systems and tools, the Specialist ensures accuracy and timeliness while collaborating with the sales team to drive quota attainment.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Prepares and edits cost proposals, contracts, amendments, modifications, and other sales-related documents in a timely manner, utilizing enterprise tools and systems while ensuring accuracy and adherence to established processes.
• Learns and applies foundational understanding of pricing, configuration, contracting, clause library usage, and related processes to assist the field sales team and internal partners in preparing proposals and contracts.
• Participates in the revision process with sales representatives, peers, managers, and/or contract managers to update proposals and contracts throughout the sales cycle.
• Reviews contract terms to flag inconsistencies or items requiring review by senior staff or contract managers.
• Examines supporting materials and agreement documents related to bids or contracts, escalating questions or concerns for clarification.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or experience with preparing contracts.
• Skill in communicating clearly and professionally in written formats, including email correspondence.
• Ability to navigate shared drives, repositories, and internal systems to locate and manage information.
• Ability to seek guidance, ask questions, and appropriately escalate issues or uncertainties.
• Attention to detail in data entry, document formatting, version control, and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Salesforce and Conga/QTC experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer relations, organizational, detail oriented, technical, and project management skills.
• Understanding of banking products and services.
• Must demonstrate ability to work well under pressure, work effectively with associates at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Applications – specifically Excel.
