Role Description

T&T Produce is expanding its Nashville sales team and seeking a motivated professional ready to build your own book of business from the ground up. This is a hands-on, outside sales role servicing existing customers while prospecting new business in the Nashville area driving growth by finding opportunities, starting conversations, opening accounts, and building long-term customer relationships.

While outside sales experience is a big plus, restaurant professionals, chefs, and culinary experts who understand fresh produce, customer needs, and kitchen operations are highly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Prospect: Hunt for new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and direct follow-up with decision-makers.
• Pipeline & Growth: Build a sales pipeline, open new accounts, reactivate former customers, and expand accounts through strong relationships.
• Learn the Trade: Master T&T Produce’s products, pricing, inventory, operations, and sales processes.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with the local Chattanooga team to seamlessly service your customers.
• Track Success: Meet sales and margin goals while diligently tracking your daily activity and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with cold calling, in-person prospecting, and unscheduled business visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, persistent, and disciplined with your daily sales activities.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced industry and travel throughout the Nashville area.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

• Background in restaurants, hospitality, produce, food service, outside sales, or territory sales.
• Proven track record of building a book of business.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• College degree is a plus.
