[Hiring] Outbound Tele-Sales Consultant @Helion Market Research

Role Description

This is a phone-based appointment-setting role. You will call decision-makers at organisations on our target list, mainly in South Africa, and book meetings for our Directors to present Helion's services. You will not be presenting, negotiating or closing deals. Your job is to get the meeting in the diary.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to a target list provided by the Directors, using the agreed call script and email templates.
• Get past gatekeepers and reach the right decision-maker (typically marketing, sales or trade marketing heads).
• Book qualified meetings into the Directors' diaries and send confirmations.
• Follow up on missed calls, callbacks and unanswered emails.
• Record every call and outcome accurately in the prospect database.
• Report weekly on calls made, contacts reached and meetings booked.

Qualifications

• A completed degree (applications without one will not be considered).
• At least 2 years' proven outbound cold-calling or appointment-setting experience, ideally business-to-business (B2B).
• A track record of booking meetings with managers or senior decision-makers, not only consumers.
• Confident, clear and professional phone manner in English.
• Comfortable making high call volumes and handling rejection.
• Reliable, organised and accurate with records; basic Excel and Outlook.
• Market research or B2B services experience is an advantage, but not essential.
