Role Description
The Non-Delegated Correspondent Account Executive is responsible for driving account activation, production growth, and long-term partner engagement across Plaza's Non-Delegated Correspondent channel. The role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Operations, Underwriting, and Closing to ensure newly approved correspondents are successfully onboarded and positioned for sustainable production growth. This individual will develop and execute strategies to:

Increase partner utilization of Plaza's programs and fulfillment services

Strengthen customer relationships

Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts

Deliver actionable feedback to support ongoing channel expansion and operational enhancements
Job Duties

New Account Activation
-
Manage the onboarding process for all approved accounts, from approval through activation.

Conduct onboarding calls to introduce clients to Plaza's processes, resources, and available support.

Coordinate account setup and onboarding activities with Operations, Client Service, and Closing teams.

Ensure account users receive appropriate access to BREEZE and understand applicable processes and procedures.

Production Development

Monitor newly approved accounts through their first submission and funding.

Develop and implement 30-, 60-, and 90-day production plans to support account growth and engagement.

Identify stalled or inactive accounts and implement targeted re-engagement strategies to encourage production.

Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for low-to-mid producing accounts.

Conduct quarterly business reviews.

Educate clients on Plaza's products, fulfillment services, and niche program offerings.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of five years of experience as an Account Executive, with significant experience in non-delegated loan production.

Strong understanding of wholesale and correspondent loan origination, underwriting processes and procedures, and applicable mortgage industry standards.

Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Professional demeanor with the ability to effectively interact with branch and company personnel, brokers, and correspondent partners.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate work, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Strong commitment to customer service with excellent client relationship management skills.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to work effectively with figures and financial information.

Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Internet browsers.

Plaza associates who will be driving on company business will be required to maintain a valid driverβs license, car insurance, and a clean driving record.

High school diploma or GED equivalent, college degree preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated Rate of Pay: $17.00- $20.00

This position offers eligibility for incentive compensation.

This position is full-time; non-exempt.

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
