Role Description

This position will report to the VP Sales Grocery East.

Travel Requirement: 30% to 50% travel, concentrated in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Location: Remote in the Mid-Atlantic region (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware).

FLSA Status: Exempt

Employment Category: Full time regular

Pay Range: $180,000-$200,000

The primary objective for this role is to lead the Generous Brands sales strategy, Net Rev Growth, Gross Margin, and profit for the Mid-Atlantic Region. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of developing and implementing the regional account plan for major accounts, with strong emphasis on Wakefern, Albertsons East, and Mid-Atlantic Accounts.

• Proven sales success in the Produce and/or branded Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
• Find and develop new business opportunities.
• Create value for customers which correlate to high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement annual key account business plans.
• Maintain relationships across functions, business units, and geographic boundaries (Marketing, Finance, and Operations).
• Prepare plans, present to customers, and develop new business opportunities.
• Become a consultant, negotiator, and partner to the business.
• Solid understanding of the major accounts business with outstanding analytical, account planning, and influencing skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent training.
• 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in selling to produce departments.
• Experience in P&L/budget management.
• Exceptional presentation skills and experience presenting to head buyer & VP levels.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Must be located in the Mid-Atlantic Region (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia).
