Role Description
The National Development Manager (NDM) expands the Ryder footprint in the marketplace and shortens the sales cycle by turning over more highly qualified leads to Field Sales. This individual is responsible for national accounts.
Essential Functions

Engages in lead nurturing and assesses whether and when the Lead merits one-on-one attention based on the lead's match to the ICP and their activity level.

Accomplishes one-on-one nurturing and uses BANT Lead qualification criteria to determine if the Lead merits assigning a sales resource.

Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and a Ryder Sales Representative.

Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's Value Proposition and Services offered.

Maintains a high level of call volume to pass qualified leads to sales, set customer appointments, and generate revenue dollars.
Additional Responsibilities

Can recognize customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; converse on transportation industry topics.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree required in business/marketing or equivalent experience.

Three (3) years or more successful sales experience required.

Three (3) years or more prior Inside Sales experience preferred.

Five (5) years or more prior experience selling in a B2B environment required.
